    Keep my original idea

Cobalt dresses, turquoise on MOH, with red shoes

    Something completely different (explain)

keep your original idea.  Those other colors are just as strong as the red.  They’ll stand up.

I know you want the red, but I think it really clashes with your colors.  Sorry!  I don’t know what else to suggest that would match but still fit your theme.

I like the idea of the cobalt and turquoise…I just do not think the red shoes will go. Just my opinion though.

I think it all clashes together there’s just too much going on. I can handle the cobalt blue, and red combo, even add yellow but I can’t do all FOUR colors together. Red, Blue and yellow are primary colors: bight and bold… turquoise is a pastel and pale it just doesn’t jive. If you can’t live without red, fine but I say ditch the tourquise then.

I might choose a different shade of blue or yellow instead, and ditch the red. I’m sure the rest of your wedding will still feel carnival-like

I googled Carnival Themed Weddings and got these images for colors:

My favorite color scheme is the first one but without the red dress. I don’t know, I just really don’t think it goes with the rest. I like the second idea, all cobalt but Maid/Matron of Honor in turqoise, but I don’t like the red shoes with it. Cobalt and red together, plus white, reads very 4th of July (USA) to me.

What if you do a mix of the turqoise and yellow? Two girls could have yellow, one cobalt, one turqoise, or something similar. I don’t think the red will “stand out” in a bad way, because the cobalt is also a strong color–I just don’t think it goes. Perhaps I’m thrown off because your color palette is mixed between strong colors (cobalt, red) and pastels (turqoise, yellow). If you really want to go with the carnival theme, and have them all in different colors, I would stick with all bright colors: bright yellow, green, red, and cobalt dresses.

Go with red shoes, but axe the red dress.  It definitely stands out way too much!

i think you can get away with it if all the colours are used throughout and they are very bold.

I think you run the risk of it looking like primary colors threw up all over.  I like the blues with yellow, no red.
