So I can’t even tell you how many hours I’ve spent working on all different options for our ceremony programs. The endless attention to detail I’ve spent on really pretty, fancy Vistaprint programs making sure every last detail is perfect – even ordered some samples and fell in love.
Well, now I fell in love a little bit more with this design.
Now I am thinking it would be easier (and I know it would be cheaper) to DIY the programs using a template I made up to match that design. I would print the programs on a letter-sized page, light purple paper, folded in half, with all black ink – that design on the front and the program info on the inside.
My only hesitation is that my colors are deep plum and an accent of teal, and my Vistaprint or MagnetStreet programs would have the perfect colors and pretty damask designs to match. However, I have played around with it all morning and cannot find a way to incorporate that Bible verse design in any way that I like.
So… do I do the cheaper, DIY version that doesn’t incorporate my colors? Or do I the pretty and matching ones that will leave me missing that design?
