I think they are a classic style, and if you can afford them and know that you will wear them, then you should get them. For me, I know I would wear them, but there is no way I could pay that much for a pair of shoes, even if I could afford them.

I am a fellow designer shoe lover/owner.  Personally, when I spend upwards of $500 on a pair of shoes, I want then to be spectacular and one of a kind.  I think you can find that same white satin shoe for much less elsewhere.  If you are going for CL, then get something you can’t find anywhere else!

Also, do you think you’d wear white shoes again?  Only asking because I don’t even own a pair of white shoes, so I know I wouldn’t get any use out of them after a wedding.

Ah…you’d be dying them after.  That sort of changes my opinion 🙂

If you love them and know you will wear them with whatever dress you get, then definitely get them.  I bought my shoes before I bought my dress as well.  Actually my shoes were the first wedding purchase I made.

@Button:  In that case, I’d probably wait.  Unless you absolutely love them, I think you can find something more stylish for your wedding.  They seem a little ordinary to me.  Unless of course, that is totally your style.

While these are very classically beautiful shoes, there’s nothing “special” about them that makes me feel like I would have to get these shoes *now* or I would miss my chance.  You have plenty of time 🙂 but of course if you know that these are definitely “the one”, then I would get them – they are so simply elegant, they would go well with any dress.

@Button: 🙂  Just to clarify, I called the shoes ordinary, not you silly.  And there is nothing wrong with wanting a classically-shaped heel.  You asked for opinions and I have to agree with thesejoys.

@Button:  You sound extremely happy about your purchase, so I am sure it’s the right shoe for you!

If you love them and can’t live without them, get them! I personally don’t see anything what makes them special. I know the quality is outstanding and with a classic shoe like that you would be able to wear alot more than with just a few outfits.

I think they’re very classic and since you can dye them after I think that they are great. I think they’re pretty expensive for the style, but if you love them and the money isn’t a problem they seem like they would be perfect:)
