ummm…those are some different shoes. I dont think they go together & those shoes are very nude so i think it might look a little weird in pics if you ever pick up your dress. But your dress is gorgeous!!

Honestly, I’d keep looking. Those just look uncomfortable, and a little bit like plastic. That gorgeous dress deserves what you’d originally envisioned. You have about 6 months, so I’d keep looking.

I’ve seen many champagne satin shoes, but they have been mostly open-toed or more sandal-y, but then it’s summer right now. Maybe if you do your looking in the fall, you’ll find shoes more appropriate for winter.

In the meantime: I went back to my search for champagne satin shoes, because that’s what I wore (but I wanted d’orsay), and found these

OMG your dress is stunning! I also don’t know that I’m crazy about those shoes. They’re quite a bit edgier than the romantic dress you’ve chosen.  I would personally go with a softer look on shoes.

I’m not a fan of the shoes, but I absolutely LOVE your dress!!  I’d keep looking for the shoes.

@MrsF2Bee:  Sometimes the wedding dress is the easy part 🙂 I found my dress, and my shoes, in a day. But I think I tried on a hundred cocktail dresses before I found my rehearsal dress.

I think the sandals are cute but that your feet will be cold. I wore shoes with straps like that in December once in south GA, and I was miserable, wishing I just had somethng covering my toes.

Keep at it. Fall lines will be in stores in about a month, and then winter lines will be coming in not long after. You’re much more likely to find good winter wedding shoes then.
