Our venue provides white tablecloths that will go to the floor. I found some lace overlay types of tablecloths at thrift stores, and I used iDye Poly in brown to dye them from white to a champagne color. I think they will look great over the white tablecloths, but I am not sure what to do about table runners.
Since we are having some long tables, 4 8-foot rectangular tables combined, should I add a table runner to these? I think a tablerunner would look really nice and help to make the centerpeices stand out (which will be collections of vintage books, wine bottles wrapped with lace ribbon, and other vintage memorabilia). What about table runners for the round tables? We have a mixture of long and round because our venue is a historic house and the long tables will look better in certain rooms.
What kind of table runner would look good on top of this? Burlap seems like a cheap option, but I’m not sure if it would look great on top of the lace.
Let me know your ideas!
