It’s gorgeous, but I honestly think it needs a belt or something to make it WOW. Also, you seem to have a great figure, did you ever consider a mermaid/fitandflare??

@Bbrankley:  That’s a gorgeous dress and it looks great on you. I would agree with the PP that a blinged out belt would really help that dress “pop”! And you would look amazing in a mermaid too! 🙂

Omg..gorgeous! I so want to try on this dress..but I refuse to go dress shopping until I slim down. I think a thin belt would look beautiful!

First of all, where you do have 25 pounds to lose!?  You have an amazing figure already!  Secondly, the Pergola looks great on you, but I agree with PP’s that some kind of embellishment or belt would really take it over the top.  I wouldn’t worry about the popularity of the Pergola.. all brides look different in the same dress and it will be unique to you if you choose it.  And finally… that Martina Liana is spectacular.  I hope it works out for you at the trunk show!

I think the belt would definitely help. It looks great on you but I feel like it needs something

@Bbrankley:  It’s lovely on you, but somehow I feel like your waist is getting lost there under the flowy fabric. And I can see how it would be difficult to add a sash, with the direction of the pleats. Honestly, I would opt for something that reveals more of your shape across the waist/hips – that stunning Martina Liana fits the bill perfectly!

I love the Pergola, and it looks pretty on you. Although, it’s doing weird things to your lower torso/hipbone area. And I agee with your mum and sis: a belt would likely not work with the way criss cross waist detail is sitting against your body (but it can’t hurt to try, anyway).

I like the Martina, but I also really like the natural-waist ball gown style on you (and think it’d look phenomenal on your figure). The Pergola is almost there, but the waist is a bit long; more like this silhouette:

That dress is absoultey beautiful. I think it’s flattering on you, but I do think some kind of bling might add some “wow” to it 🙂

@Bbrankley:  Ah that makes sense (and from one pear to another, I understand completely). The dress I posted is Lazaro 3251, btw).
