I love it, but then again I’m biased – I make Castile soap and am giving that out as my favors 🙂

Dislike. I toss these pretty quickly. No offense, they are just not my cup of tea.

I really like this because like you said, it’s something that’s tied to your family, rather than just something random. I like artisan handmade soaps quite a bit, so I would use it. I definitely would offer a few scents/blends to choose from so everyone will find something they like.

I would like this, but in my opinion, it seems to lean more towards something a woman would like than a man. I think it’s nicer than a lot of wedding favors I’ve seen, and at the end of the day, the people that love you are coming for your wedding, the wedding favors are a bonus! If it speaks to you, then go for it!

love it! i love favors that can be used or eaten as opposed to collecting dust in your house.

@Ohhavok:  I would be so excited to get them! I love handmade soap. The fact that your Future Sister-In-Law makes it just makes it all the better, IMO.

Bees often say non-edibles are a no, but I don’t agree as long as it’s something actually useful. Everybody needs soap. If some people don’t take them, I’m sure others will pick them up. I know I would be hunting around all the tables at the end of the night looking for extras!

Personally I would go for no favor than a bar of soap, naturally made or not.  I am not a soap person and would just toss it. I like my bodywashes much better.

I personally would love because I’m fan of bath products in general. However, for large group i would say no. I in my circle there are alot of people who won’t appeciate it and simply toss them. Plus people are so sensative to scents and are very particular about personal care items in general.

They are pretty. But, I can’t use most soaps due to allergies, and am really weird about scents. I also don’t like clutter in the bathroom, so i’m afraid this would get left behind by me.

I would like it because it I know it’s personal because your SIL made it. But think about how hurtful it will be to her to see people just leaving them (and some people will, either by accident or because they don’t need any more bathroom dust collectors). Just a thought!

I would love this. But my Fiance couldn’t care less. So I think one per family would be enough.
