Hi all! I am on a limited budget for my bridesmaids gifts, but I still want to get them stuff that they will appreciate. So far I have gotten them each a Vera Bradley wristlet, an initial pocket mirror from Anthropologie (these are too cute, I kinda want one too haha), and a Philosophy lip gloss (each in a separate flavor).
I want to add one more item for each girl (there are 6 total) in the $10-$20 range, but I can’t decide which direction to go. I’m kind of thinking of something small that I could put into the wristlet with the lipgloss and mirror. Here are some of my ideas: 1) set of 2 moleskine journals in fun colors; 2) a separate book for each (not just a novel, but something cute and/or meaningful) 3) some kind of jewelry? is this even worth it if I only have a budget of under $20? 4) something silly like scratch off lotto tix and candy, and maybe one of those “emergency bridesmaid kits” 5) gift card for manicure or pedicure (would be fun to do this together the day before the wedding, but then when would I give them the gifts? aren’t they normally given at the rehearsal dinner??)
Thoughts? Advice? Other ideas? Thanks in advance!

I like the mani/pedi idea. You can give your girls the gifts whenever you want. You can have a hang out day with them and give it to them then.

I second mani/pedi. The other stuff is stuff they may not use, depending on the girl. 🙂

I think what you have sounds very thoughtful.
I considered getting cute books for my girls–similar to the Everything you Pretend to Know and Are Afraid Someone Will Ask book that I got FI awhile back. They would definitely be nicer than that though 🙂
My sister suggested the Philosophy product that can be shampoo/body wash/and bubble bath or something. They sell it at Ulta for $16–usually they have $3.50 off an item coupons or 20% off your purchase.
I wouldn’t go the jewelry route unless you have a really good idea what everyone likes.
I added in chapstick, mints, and nail files with my clutches. A lottery ticket would also be fun.
Gift card for nails is always good too. I think you have lots of great ideas.

I third the mani/pedi gift cards! And then what about adding a pack of gum or mints to the purse for the day of the wedding?

Where did you find the wristlets? I’d like to get my girls them but can’t find them anywhere…

Thanks! Good call on the mani/pedi and I like the gum/mint idea too.
Sunshine, I think you can order them from the website: http://www.verabradley.com/ Apparently, they are going to be opening up Vera Bradley stores, so most of the gift shops that currently carry her stuff won’t be getting anything new in (or at least that’s what I heard).

I’m probably going to do jewelry for the BMs to wear at the wedding, that way they don’t have to pay as much for their wedding outfits and they get something they’ll likely wear again!
