I’m thinking of doing these candles for my centerpieces in my wedding colors. I just don’t know which colors to put where, which is where your help comes in! I’ve attached a picture of my card box to give you an idea of my color scheme.
If the picture of the candles doesn’t load properly, take a look at the picture of the candles in cylinder vases wrapped in ribbon and flowers (second picture from the top) here: http://frugalflourish.blogspot.com/2009/11/holiday-party-planning-step-5.html

I voted for guava flowers and green ribbon.
However, I kind of think the beauty of that centrepiece is in the simplicity, so maybe going monotone would work as well.
I also think you could do a white candle with any combination. Coloured candles are pricey, and I’m not sure that it’s high impact enough to bother spending the extra $.

@SapphireSun: I’ve decided to make my candles for that very reason. Not only will it be cheaper all around, but color dye blocks are about $1 a piece and can color whole batches of candles, so I can get the exact color I want for basically the same price of white. Great point though!

yellow flowers would be easier to find than green, you’d have more variety and they’d really stand out. I love green ribbon too, so my vote was for #2
