Hi all.. First post!
I bought a 300 dollar wedding dress from Lightinthebox.com , its a simple chiffon dress with 3D flowers. Its A-Line but i didnt intend to wear a hoop. It looks Great without it.
After I recieved it, stupid me, I started roaming again for another dress (initially just for fun). I soon fell in love with a non traditional white/ivory dress that have a vintage feeling which I love. I bought my second wedding dress (pls see the pics my dressmaker sent)
Please be honest and tell me which one looks better?? I am a petite gal (5ft) and 44kg (not sure in pounds)…. Good or Bad opinions are very welcome! Thank you,…

Wow the 2nd dress is very romantic
The LITB dress looks very plain jane to me.
Depends whether you want the traditional look or the very soft, romantic look in the 2nd dress.

I like the first…but I’m not a big fan of anything vintage…I also don’t really think the white and ivory mixed together looks very nice…kind of clashes too much…the weaving on the bodice is lovely though…but also not a fan of the skirt…I’m sure it could look very lovely on you though! You’ll look great, no matter what, I’m sure! 🙂 Good luck!

this is a real bride wearing the same dress (just different lace color)
as for the white lace, i accidently chose that color.. i was hoping it wasnt quite obvious…

I think the second dress looks lovely. Have you been able to see the dress in person? Or the materials together prior to the construction of the dress? It may be the lighting that’s making the lace look so bright. If she has fluorescent lights that could be making a huge difference.

Now that I’ve seen it on a person rather than mannequin, I can say with complete honesty that it’s a lovely dress and TOTALLY goes with a vintage theme!

Definitely the second dress. First is plain, and after seeing the dress on the other bride, it’s sooo pretty. Seeing a dress on a real person vs a mannequin can make a world of difference. Go with the vintage dress!!! It’s soft and romantic!
EDIT: Your first dress is pretty also, when I said plain I didn’t mean to be negative about it. But looking at the two, it does nothing for me.

@JlovesM: no no no its fine.. i personally think its plain… (people do call me plain jane haha) but because i bought online, i tried to keep things simple incase of emergency alterations (rescue operation!)
But the 3D flowers did catch my eye
the 2nd dress did really give me a “stop heartbeat” feeling..

Im in love with the second one. Where is it from?

Actually, after looking through the thread and seeing the actual pictures of dress number 2.. I’m going to change my vote. I voted for #1 on the poll – but I’m in love with number 2!!!

@teabiscuit: I bought it from Etsy, a seller named Madabby. She has got a range of cute to beautiful dresses.
so far, i m still not convinced my mum will accept the 2nd dress… But once i recieved it, i will post photos of myself wearing so you girls can help me decide..

I voted 2 but mostly because I’m all about supporting an Etsy vendor over LitB.

The second one is amazing. It’s hard to find a dress that makes me second guess my dress choice, but yours did. It’s so unique!
The first one, honestly, I think it looks a little cheap. Not like floozy cheap, but like…prom-y cheap. Does that make any sense? I don’t mean to be negative about your choice, but I really don’t think there’s much very special about this dress. You’d have to do a lot to doll it up to even get it to begin to look as striking as the second one.
The second one looks magical and seems much more bridal, even though it’s less traditional.

@KristenGotMarried: ummm what about the actual look?? haha
@EffieTrinket: ok, thanks for opinion.. appreciated !!
