I think your menu is nice for a bbq reception, and your drink optiions are plenty. Most of your crowd will be happy with beer & wine.

Me, personally, I prefer to have mixed drinks and the like offered at weddings, but that’s because I don’t drink beer or wine.

It really depends on your family though. Do you think they’ll be happy with just beer & wine?

@bndmusicfactory:  You could always do a few signature drinks and have the alcohol on hand. Most of them don’t take very much alochol [a few ounces], and can be mixed with juices and such.

I like mixed drinks, but for a casual BBQ I think beer and wine is plenty!

@bndmusicfactory:  This WAS going to be our signature drinks, but we have since decided to go the catering route instead. There are TONS of drinks out there, or you can even create your own!

And we went with the most general of ways to make it, whatever was less complicated.

I think that sounds delicious, and I usually prefer wine anyway, so I’d be thrilled at your menu πŸ™‚

the menu sounds great! So much yummier than the usual boring wedding food. And as a vegetarian I love all the veggie options, very throughtful of you. I wish I was coming, haha. And beer and wine goes great with the menu, stick to your budget. Ask a few of your well connected family members to spread the word about bringing booze if people want to.

Are you having cake or other dessert? I think that’s the main thing I see missing. A meal isn’t complete to me without dessert!

It sounds yummy! I think the beer, wine, lemonade, etc. are going to keep everyone happy!
