We had one and it was a huge it! It was in a back corner of the room and I actually forgot about booking the thing until friends and family grabbed me to take pics! The photos are unlimited and its really fun months later visiting guests and seeing the pics all over their homes! We also got a great deal…their was a discount for bridal show attendees and then I won a door prize for $200 off their services! With the combined discoumts we only pais $600.

We had one, it was a huge hit! We got hard copies of most of them, as well as all of them on a usb key…We had people coming up to us asking about the cost for their daughters wedding in Sept. It seems to be just taking off here, so many people had never heard of it before, so our wedding was one of the first to have one for a lot of our guests

@msbeautygeek: I think it is all the props that just get me. They have photobooths on 4 weddings a lot, and a lot of the time there are great reviews. But I just don’t like the look of all these people dresses up beautifully wearing plastic glasses. It just cheapens the whole event to me in those cases of formal weddings. I like the idea of photobooths in general, just not for formal weddings

My husband actually made a photo booth for our wedding… and now we rent it out at the venue we got married at for a really reasonable rate ($250). I hate how expensive they are to rent… and we wanted other people to be able to have it!
People absolutely love photo booths at weddings. As others have mentioned it is just one more fun thing for people to do. They by no means “take over” and are usually pretty unobtrusive (granted… some photo booths are ridiculously big… just avoid those.. lol).

@msbeautygeek: Thanks! Yeah, he bought the shell at an auction, had it painted, etc. He likes projects like that!

My cousin had a photobooth at her wedding and decided to knix the guest gifts because they got their own photo strips. It’s more expensive than the gifts alone, but if you take that into account (and it’s not like anyone really uses those gifts anyway) it’s not a terrible idea.

we love the idea of a photo both we are getting one. The company saves all photos at 8m so its very good photo quality. ALL shots are saved and put on a DVD or saved onto a flash drive so if we wanted to print them another way we could. all free, then the people in the photo get one print and teh other goes for our guest book 🙂 with an attendent so people who dont understand the concept are helped out 🙂 i LOVE the idea of it i think every wedding should have a photo booth – hey how often is grandma gonna put a fake mustash on her face with a sombero? you will look back on that photo years from now and laugh because grandma was awesome- same goes for everyone else in on your guest list!
