@rossies:  It’s not about OUR opinions, HER taste and personal style are important!

Wy don’t you get a very simple plain engagement ring and get a nice diamond and use that to propose. She can use that ring and upgrade with an enhanver or she van pick the setting she likes.

I am also not a cluster fan, but i would have gladly accepted anything from my fiance (cluster or not) because I love him. However, if you are wanting to be sure that she will be happy with the purchase and not just greatful.. I would really make sure she likes clusters. If in fact, she does NOT like clusters… then I know a lot of bees on here would gladly help you find non-cluster alternatives for absolutely any budget you have. If you are trying to leave her out of the process as much as possible then I would not reccomend the cluster unless she has particularly expressed interest in a cluster, I would also not reccomend Moissonite, unless she has expressed interest in non-diamond alternatives. If you know a bit about what her tastes are then work from there.. if you have no idea then a traditional soiltaire with maybe some diamonds on the band would be my reccomendation.

@Everdeen:  OP, or the opposite of what she said, have her pick out her three favorites and you choose one out of those!
