I like the first one better, I think it would be more flattering on different body types. The second one seems like it would make the lower half look larger than it actually is.

Good luck, bee!

I agree with PP, the first one looks like it will be much more flattering on different body types.

I like the first one better. But please be careful I have heard awful things about davids!

Jumping in and giving my vote for the first dress as well!

In terms of a non-DB option = Nordstrom. I know they’re a bit pricey but honestly the customer service you receive with them is unrivaled. If you or any of the BM’s have a credit card with them the first $100 of alterations is free. Also as a larger department store they also have a longer list of locations and can easily ship/return.

Idk if I love any of them. But I feel like the second one is more likely to be universally flattering.

I think the halterneck one would be more flattering (unless all your girls are super slim with toned arms and small boobs in which case go for the round neck).

My wedding is in one month. If I could go back and do it again, I would not have used David’s for anything. There are so many hidden fees, we were pressured to buy in order to receive things on time (arrived with MONTHS to spare), they don’t give you proper dress bags, many associates are verging on incompetent, etc. etc. I could go on and on. I have flower girls and a jr. bridesmaid in Winnipeg and a bridesmaid in Toronto and the rest are in Calgary. All of them agreed that we could have figured out a better option than David’s.

I’ve never had a problem with David’s. I was a Bridesmaid or Best Man for another wedding and we got our dresses there. (the bride even changed her mind and they let us exchange the dresses no problem.) I also got my wedding dress there.

What shape are your girls? Have you considered letting them pick their own dress based on the color, length and fabric (there are 14 different long, chiffon, wine colored options)?

I can tell you right now that I don’t think either dress would be flattering on me – small chest, big hips, size 10, pear shape. (http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_strapless-crinkle-chiffon-dress-with-cascade-skirt-w10840_bridesmaid-dresses-long-bridesmaid-dresses is more in line with what i like on myself.)
