None are personally my style, but if you could do a full length version of dress 2 I bet it would be stunning. I don’t like the dropped waist. I think it cuts you off at a weird point.

Dress 3 overall is a very flattering shape on you, but doesn’t cinch you in like the upper body on dress 2. Might be the ruching style? The bottom of dress 3 looks almost unfinished to me. That extra ruffle almost cheapens the look.

Sorry. I’ve just read this back and it is kind of mean. You look lovely, but I think you can dress so much better for your shape!

I think Dress A is the best but I’m not really wowed by any of them. Did you get a particular feeling in any of them? I’m all about going with your gut or just letting them sit for a little while to see which one sticks with you.

David’s Bridal isn’t necessarily the cheapest all the time.. Have you even tried smaller dress shops in your area? I don’t know exactly what your budget is, but Mori Lee dresses are incredibly affordable.

I’m posting my comment from the other thread on here-

but there’s tons of boutiques that have dresses under 1k. Second hand, something. None of these are doing it for you and they all look cheap to me.

milabeehappy :  I like the shape of A, but I’m not crazy about the dress. I think it looks kind of cheap. I think Dress B looks beautiful on you. I know you’re on a strict budget, but there are lots of other places you can look that have deals. I wore a dress from BHLDN and they care a huge range of prices. You can also look at consignment shops or at older styles.

milabeehappy :  i think I prefer the vera wang you were considering over these.

If you’re on a strict budget have you looked at modcloth? there’s so real beauties on there if you’re not opposed to something a little unusual. All of these were under $300

If you absolutely had to choose one of those then I like C the best. I think you should keep looking though.

Have you tried on any other styles at DB?

You definitely suit mermaids, so I pick A, but I’m not wowed by it.

I’d have voted for B if it was all the same fabric, but I don’t like the satin fabric on it so much. I think it would look good if it were all in tulle. I think the satin looks bulky on you somehow.

Your budget is under $1000, am I right?

Dress B!!!!!!! Simple and elegant, but the sash adds interest. Pretty timeless, too. Also, your body looks fantastic in it.
