I don’t mind about it not being raised.

My only though would be on the arms, I like to snuggle and lie on couches and square arms aren’t great fo that.  But that’s just me.

Really nice couch though, and I love the colour.

Hm. Something is off about it to me, but I can’t pinpoint what. I would keep looking, but if this one is in your price range and comfortable, go for it. We have a grey couch and love it.

I like it. I prefer fabric couches over leather ones and I prefer earthy neutrals over vibrant/strong colours. It also has clean lines, so will match virtually any decor – big tick!

@ccranetobe:  I hate that my couch has square arms, but they also aren’t padded at all, they’re just faux leather wrapped around wood so it’s so uncomfortable to snuggle against.  If they were padded I think they would still be ok.

I voted to keep looking 🙂 Are you from Aus?  Because I swear I saw that photo when I was looking through the net lol.  I did go back to this particular lounge but decided it wasn’t for me.  I found it kind or weird that the seat cushions continued down the front of the lounge… It is very ‘continuous’ if that makes sense lol.  Fiance and I are looking for a similar lounge at the moment either L or U shaped with a chaise…. it is a lot harder than I thought it would be!

    Good luck xx

I have to say square arms are great mini-tables for your remotes/dinner plates! And also as extra seats if you have alot of people over 🙂

I think it would be too low. Don’t forget, the cushions will squish as you use the sofa, so it will get lower and therefore, hard to get out of. Would not be good for guests, especially if you have older guests.   We have a “low” sofa too that got lower with use and we are now looking to replace it for these reasons….. we only got it 2 years ago 🙁   Good luck!!!

If you really like it, you can always add legs to it providing there’s a space to screw them in. I personally like it flat to the floor which would save on dusting underneath, and kids and dogs pushing toys under there. The 2 things I don’t care for are the fact that you can’t flip the seat cushions to get even wear on them or if they get stained and dirty, and the squared off arms.
