One month away from the big day! I bought this pearly halo before I even had a dress picked out but ever since am loving it a litle less. I am wearing my hair down in relaxed curls.
What do we think? Stick with original plan or ditch it?

hannahthenurse : I think it could go with the dress but I don’t like the position in the pic. I think it would look better either down across your forehead (like how flower crowns are worn) or back farther and more up & down.

hannahthenurse : I’d like it better if it were smaller and sit farther back off your hairline if that makes sense.

hannahthenurse : I like it. If you don’t feel comfortable wearing it to your wedding, it could be fun for the rehearsals dinner!

I like the idea of it, but it’s just really big…..

I LOVE pearls so I say wear it!

hannahthenurse : it will look different when it is positioned correctly on your head and with your hair styled. I say go for it, I wore an accessory with a similar feel (but aquamarine nuggets with pearls instead) and loved it! 😊

hannahthenurse : I’d consider wearing it to the rehearsal dinner or something. I like it, but I feel about it the same way I feel about anything that’s too trendy + lifelong photos. It’s trendy now, so you love it. But will you love it in 20 years when it’s out of style? Will you regret having something that bold on your head when you look back at your photos?
Side note: all brides in the 1980’s thought that they looked stunning in those poufy sleeves and weird headband-mullet veil things (google “1980’s bride” and you’ll get what I mean).

I like it right now, but it’s definitely trendy and will date your pictures. I agree with PP who said wear it for a bridal shower or rehearsal dinner!

Do we have different thoughts with it higher up on my head?

hannahthenurse : I still think it’s gorgeous and say go for it 😊 You look beautiful and if you love it – wear it!!

I think it’s pretty, ethereal, and lovely on you. Yes, it will read 2010s in 20 years but I have yet to see a wedding photo that I can’t pin to a decade based on clothing and photo quality. That’s kind of the charm! Live for the moment, mamá!

It looks perfect back further on the head. ^ ^

I think worn up higher like that it’s lovely. Reminiscent of a baby’s breath (gypsophila) crown.
