That dress definitely makes a statement!

However, I agree with fifty: the first one looks so lovely on you! The two dresses are SO different so I guess it depends on what style of wedding you are having…

Post them all, madam! I like playing the wedding dress game. 🙂

I like that the fabric in the first is not quite as shiny as the second one. Maybe it’s just the shot/lighting, but the bottom one looks almost iridescent. Combined with the bright white of the fabric, it makes it pretty intense. :p (But it’s still an awesome dress. I so fail at being helpful. lol).

The trend right now is ruffles, fathers etc… Try on some more dresses with the type of look you are going for, now that you know you like that style. Here is an idea…

It did not let me upload it, the dress is Impression Couture #6807

I still love the second one you posted, especially after showing the back. 🙂

Do you know how formal you want your ceremony and reception to be?  To me the one with all the ruffles is so dramatic that it seems like it needs to be a more formal wedding.  The other is classically beauiful and could work in a wider variety of weddings.

Another issue might be – how different and memorable do you want the dress to be?  I think that the ruffles dress is one that people will definately remember.  On the other hand you might need to simplify other things like your hair, makeup, and flowers in order to make it work.  It all depends on what you want to emphasize.

Lastly, I hate to say it, but I really do not like the one with the low sash across the hips – you have such a pretty figure and it makes your hips look wide to me.  I would take that one completely out of the running if I were you.

I really like the first one on you. When you were at the salon, did you discuss how each of these would be bustled? This could effect your decision in a big way once you see how it will look at the reception.

P.S. I’m wearing red shoes too!

If you absolutely love it 100%, then get it.  If not, I’d wait, sleep on it, and try a few others on both in similar styles and different styles.  As someone mentioned, you have  a few months.  The one with all the ruffles looks heavy on the bottom – is it?

Either way, they look great on you.

I LOOOOVVVEEEE that sassy dress. I was originally planning on a plain dress and I fell in love with something I would have never normally picked out (BEST CHOICE EVER!!!), I say… GO FOR IT!!! 🙂
