My fiance has found a ring that he absolutely loves that would sort of match my since I have champagne diamonds in my halo (rose instead of yellow gold):
I was thinking of getting a champagne diamond band that’s a bit darker than the stones in my halo and realized that the le vian collection would be a great place to look. So we went to jared and kay tonight to take a look and of course they didn’t have any of the rings I was eyeing on le vian’s site. however, the guy at kays did show us ones that they have “special” access to. One of them had almost an identical design as the band my Fiance wants!! And it’s very pretty. Anyways… We were asking him about getting it in but he called and found out he can’t unless we buy it because of a vendor thing…
This is the ring (sorry its crappy… had no choice but to take a pic off the ipad he had):
I think its a great ring and it would be great to match even more with my FI’s choice, but will it look good with my ering? If I do get the ring I will make sure they use less rhodium or something so it’s not so dark and more delicate. Also the design in the band im looking at is backwards compared to the one he wants, so they will just flip it to match the one he likes.
Here is my ring:
What do you guys think?????

Hopefully it works this time

I love your e-ring, but I think that wedding band would really overpower it. I think you need something a lot thinner and with less detail.

Both bands are not my style at all. The band you are thinking of for yourself seems so chunky to put with your e-ring. The styles don’t seem to match. Is there some reason you want your jewelry and your SO’s to match so much?

@Mrs. Fireworks: I was originally thinking a champagne eternity and then I found this one online. I was hoping to try it on at the store but they didn’t have it
@mrsSonthebeach: They don’t have to match but I like the idea of it. When the guy showed us this one I got excited because it matched but I am concerned it wont look good together. I’m going to see if maybe Macy’s or another store could bring it in to try on and see if I even like it with my ring.
I really dont want to ruin the look of my ering as I adore it but i would love to have a band that matches my FI’s if it is a nice looking possiblity. If it just doesnt do then I’ll most likely stick to something along the line like I just posted.

I just can’t see those two together. Have you tried on similar styles in real life?

@AlwaysSunny: I haven’t tried on similar styles but I did try on some with similar colors. I know for sure I do not like that it is so dark and not all the le vian bands are. I do like the color of the champagne diamonds though instead of having all white.
