Here are the alterations i wanna make on the dress I was eyeing. I am worried about the neckline mostly, i dislike sweetheart necklines that are “too round”, if you get what im saying. Oh, and i must say i have a small bust so i need a really flaterring neckline. Opinions please. Should i stick with the corsette back or choose a zipper back?

I think crinoline or a hoop will make the bottom fuller, not alterations.
and I have a smaller bust too, any sweetheart cut was flattering on! Wear a nubra with it too.
The belt was probably sewn on after anyway, so that should be an easy fix for them to make it able to come off.
pretty dress 🙂 good luck.

@KatyYoung: Add a crinoline to the bottom. That will make it fuller for almost nothing (you get get them for less than $20 on eBay).
Second, I would check out a “closed corset” back. It still laces up, but the sides fully touch!
Third, is this YOUR dress? Or are you ordering it custom? Because if you’ve already ordered it in your size, changing it to a zipper or closed-corset back is going to be ery difficult.

@BrandNewBride: I’m planning to order it custom through Lassdress on Etsy. This will be my dress for the courthouse wedding, Fi said i could get a new one too for the actual ceremony.
