I’ve been getting mixed reactions on my dress so I wanted to see what everyone here thinks. I don’t have a pic of it on me as I won’t until I get it in but I found a pic of a plus size girl about my size in it. What do you think?

More to the point…. what do you think about YOUR dress.
I wouldn’t be worrying about people’s opinions, if you love it and feel fab in it then that is all that matters.
That being said, it’s pretty and I am sure you will great.

I like the color. It gives the model an hourglass figure. Very slimming.

Mixed reactions? What’s not to like? It’s beautiful!

I love it. It’s an absolutely gorgeous dress and very flattering.

I think the dress is beautiful and very flattering, however I wouldn’t choose it as my wedding dress. It looks more like a nice prom dress to me.

The shape looks flattering on the person in the photo. My aversion, I think, is to the large graphic flower. My eye is drawn to it and not the bride.
Just because it isn’t for me doesn’t mean it isnt for you, though! If you love it, wear it.

This isn’t a first marriage for me and I have 3 children so I was trying to avoid the traditional white gown.

Thank you all for your opinions. Perhaps I should have given a little more background. this is not a first marriage for me but it is a first wedding and it will be a backyard wedding at my fiance’s father’s home.

I think that dress is beautiful! If you love it you should wear it! What have people said about it so far? dont worry about what they think…

The main reaction is that it just isn’t traditional and my mother is profoundly dissapointed because I said no to her making a very ’80s style dress that I absolutely hated.

Everyone likes thier own style, it doesn’t matter what we like – its what YOU like. Would I wanna wear it? No. Would you wanna wear the dress I picked out for myself? No, prob not. Thats what makes everyone different. If everyone liked the same style that would be no fun! We would all look the same…
Bottom line is you have to love it. Not us and not your mom. Tell her to get over her 80’s style dress fantasy, this is YOUR wedding.
