My husband recently got me an early anniversary gift in the form of a new upgraded ring, which I love and I’m so thankful for. However recently I’ve been missing my original set due to the sentimental value it holds since that’s what we got married with.
My questions for everyone are should I:
1. Keep both and continue to switch them?
2. Have the larger diamond from the new ring set into the original set?
Would the larger diamond look to be too much in the original set? For reference the set on the right has a center stone of about 1/3 ct and the anniversary ring has a center of just over 1ct.

I’m not sure they could reset it with such the size difference. If I were you I’d wear one for a week, the other the next week, etc. just to enjoy both of them.

mjburgess93 : keep both and swap them out as and when you want

I would just keep them both. If you put the larger stone in your original set it will no longer be your original set. When your feeling flashy, go for the larger stone. If you feel ever feel like you want to wear your original, go for the original.

Gorgeous nails! Would you consider wearing your original nails as on your right hand?

mjburgess93 : they are both gorgeous but I prefer your original set. Does the new ring fit on any of your other fingers?

Switch them out. If you can, wear one on the left and and the other as a RHR. That way you can enjoy both of them. (If those fingers are the same size.)

I agree with everyone who says keep both and switch them up. They’re both so completely different from each other, which means you can really change them with your outfit, other accessories, or even your mood! Have fun with it

Yep, just switch them up depending on your mood 🙂

you could always get one resized and wear it on the other hand

From someone that swaps out rings often, keep both! They are both gorgeous and I love your nail colors too 🙂

mjburgess93 : both rings are stunning. IMO, a girl can never have too much bling. I would put the larger diamond in the old setting and have the best of both worlds
