I voted silhouette artist because it seems that every wedding has a photobooth now a days..it’s nice to offer something unique. Just my two cents!

I’d rather attend a wedding where the money was spend elsewhere on quality, than trinkets.
If I had to choose, I’d prefer a photo booth out of the two.
I like the idea of the artist, especially for a Sunday wedding. I do love a good photo booth, but I like the originality of the other. I am trying to finagle a caricturist for a prior to ceremony and cocktail hour surprise for our guests and will have a DIY photo booth set up inside that I have used for other events. I found a caricturist onb thumbtack and will just need paper for the photo booth printer so neither are going to be a huge expense, but a big impact. I think whatever you choose to do will be perfect for your day and your guests will love it!
I like both ideas but my preference is the silhouette artist. Good luck.
Having a silhouette artist is a genious idea. It is totally diffrent. So many weddings have a photo booth now (mine did) but nothing like a silhouette artist. I have not even heard of that being done. If I went to a wedding and have a silhouette cut I would tell everyone I knew about and then hang it on my wall!
I would say photobooth! It would be nice to look back at the pictures but that is just me. I know quite a few people who have used one at their wedding and the pictures were too cute and looked like alot of fun.
I’m really hoping that your reaction is what our guests would have. I absolutely think a photobooth is fun too, but I feel like everyone already has a handful of filmstrips from other weddings, how many times can you do it before it gets old? Plus I don’t expect guests to be drinking a lot, which makes the photobooth a little less silly and fun 😛
I’ve been to weddings w/ both. Like the silhouette idea. Just seems like a waste of money imho.
Spend the money on something that you will actually like. It’s your wedding.
