I’m attending my future SIL’s wedding in July and have been thinking about what to wear.
We just had the bridal shower this weekend and everyone has their outfits figured out already.
The ceremony is going to be formal, but the reception is casual with a pool, tennis, and a lot of outdoors activities. So most people are going to bring a change of clothing even the bride and their wedding party.
I really don’t want to carry and change into an entire different outfit, especially because I don’t think I’ll be in the pool or playing any of the games.
I was thinking of wearing a body suit top with a long skirt over it for the ceremony, and then simply slipping shorts under my skirt and taking the skirt off for the reception.
I don’t know the proper etiquette with this, just wondering if you guys thought it was appropriate or not formal enough?
Here’s a photo of the formal outfit, and then the shorts I would wear instead of the long skirt after.
