It’s a beautiful dress! Very classic and regal but glamorous too, with all the beaded detail. It does look a touch big on you though, especially around the bust/waist. Is that what you mean by wide?

Beautiful, but yes, I do think it needs alterations and then will look PERFECT! In the 4th photo it looks like it is sitting too low on you. Also, for what it’s worth, I think the bigger jewelry looks better (like in photo 4, maybe not that exact necklace but something larger than just pearls).

I agree with NAvery…

my dress doesn’t stay up and its loose around the hips (I have small hips/waist but a larger bust measurement chest wise )…the seamstress just did a mock tightening up for me at my first fitting and wow the difference how it will be when finished.

I love your dress, it is classic, elegant and I love the sparkles!

@parada:  you just need to have it fitted correctly. That cut is meant to be fitted through the hip and top of the thigh. You don’t look wide now, by the way!

It’s gorgeous on you! Looks like it does need to come in at the waist, but don’t worry about alterations till you’re closer to the day : )

No you don’t look wide! It really really suits you, you look slim and tall and gorgeous. The beadwork on it is so pretty. Don’t doubt!
