Im having a bit of a decision dilemma (as always!) and thought Id ask you ladies for some help. First off though, IF ANY OF YOU BEES HAVE A RING LIKE THE 2ND PIC, PLEASE POST PICS OF THEM! π thankyou.Im really bad at choosing designs I like, because I dont wear much sparkly jewellery, and I love slightly gothic designs really.. not skulls and blood lol, I just mean the more intricate arty details and slightly celtic designs.
However for my engagement ring, I know I want something beautiful and elegant, nothing too showy, but not too simple either like a solitaire for example. Out of all the settings I have seen, I have fallen in love with this one.. But it is made with CZ’s.. and any diamond ones that are similar are way too expensive for something I would be comfortable to wear on my finger. I want to save that money for our future. I really wat a ring that will last though, that I dont have to worry so much about clouding or scratching, because im very sentimental and wouldnt want it to be changed/repaired often because of that.
Heres the CZ ring.
Now the thing is.. Ive been searching and searching for something similar but with diamonds, and this is all ive found that comes close.. in the UK that is.
Now Ive tried on the CZ one, and admit I fell in love with it, it was in our budget, and I didnt know about CZs not being so durable, so I didnt look at any others as it seemed like the right one.Im gutted because I love it, but after a ton of thinking, I think I really would prefer a diamond ring for durability and it feeling like an engagement ring.
The one thing about the second ring is, Im not sure about the metal sides either side of the centre stone.. Im a bit of a perfectionist and I know if they wernt there Id be like “yes, thats the one!” because I love the intricate design on the shoulders and its quite unique ring i think, its intruiging. Im really excited to go look at it and im sure then I will know better but ladies, which would you choose?? Do you think the metal sides ruin it, or add to it?
I love them both, the first is more of my original idea in my head, but the second is a bit more..me.Its just the metal sides! ah im so silly π but i really cant decide.
Thanks bees π
