I’m thinking platform stilettos will be on the list of regular styles. And skinny jeans on men lol. Sweater dresses are also questionable in my book.

For wedding styles? Uhhh I’m thinking halo e-rings, trumpet or mermaid dresses, colorful shoes, birdcage veils, and possibly hair flowers lol.

Hair feathers, jeggings, racerback tanks with regular bra straps sticking out.  Ok, maybe these are things I side eye already… it won’t take another 20 or 30 years for people to cringe over these!

as far as wedding dresses go I think pickups are the thing we’ll all laugh about the most in 20 years.

For regular clothes I agree with Kate169 that platform stilettos, (aka hooker shoes) are a big offender.  I’ll add super skinny jeans, (although I wear them as well), shapeless tops, (the kind that just hand there without a waist point), leggings as pants, huge purses, mismatched metals.  And btw, I totally wear all of these styles, (except the shapeless tops).

@kate169: during winter I practically live in sweater dresses. I hope they never go out of style.

Hair feathers for sure, I just don’t get it. As far as weddign dress styles go, I’d have to say pickups and…I don’t know the word for it, but when the fabric is draped like the skirt on that super popular DB Vera Wang dress? You guys know the one I mean. And one shoulder. I don’t dislike any of those styles, about bought a couple of them, but I do think they’re definitely a passing trend.

@Meowkers: ooh yeah I forgot about pickups…most definitely a trend thing. Haha my bad on the sweater dresses.

@kate169: hahahah nut huggers.  I love it.

Skinny jeans on men for sure, screen tees, and probably much more. Oh gosh for sure those denim shorts with the pockets out.

As long as denim overalls never come back into style, I’ll be good.

For weddings, I think halo e-rings (they’ll always be beautiful and gorgeous, but I think they’re a little trendy at the moment) and probably the dresses with pickups (pretty dresses but trendy)

I think this style is really pretty, but I think it will also be one of those that you look back on and scratch your head lol.

@kate169: haha  that dress was my runner up dress.  I’m so happy I didn’t end up picking it. It looked gorgeous on but I felt like it was trying just a little too hard and that I didn’t want to laugh at myself in 20 years.

@kate169: Oh yeah, ruffle overload, and applique would be another one, that is pretty but most definitely a trend.

Gah! I didn’t realize platform pumps were such a faux pas…but yeah, they’ll probably go the way of really chunky 90s heels – which coincidentally are making a comeback (Can you believe it? Chokers next?).

I’d say shapeless tops as well, and hopefully sweater dresses. Likely leggings, but that doesn’t mean I’ll give up wearing them.

And while I love it, I can see the Rhianna spiky/shaved/short hairdos going the way of many 80s hair styles – sadly.

For weddings: rosettes on dresse…I actually ADORE them, but I definitely think they will be the “puffy sleeves” of our generation…

Coloured sashes. Though i think they are already something people look at as a little dated.
