@anotherbee:  oh my goodness, no o until CD36?? Ugh, that sucks! How do you know you usually o at that time (charting, opks, CM, o pains, etc.)? If you’re pretty confident that you usually o around that time, I wouldn’t start until CD30… or at least CD25. If you’re unsure though, or if you have PCOS or something, then maybe you do want to test from CD5 on…. that sounds tedious though!

ETA: I don’t think you should wait for the stick to dry. Just read it after the time given in the instructions. 5 min, right?

@anotherbee:  Nope you don’t want to wait to long because then they become invalid.

I noticed with me that they would get increasingly darker as I got closer to O and then lighten right after.

I know how frustrating this can be when having long cycles. I am pregnant now and didn’t O until cd39. Hang in there!

@anotherbee:  You would probably want to check with doc and make sure that you don’t have any conditions like PCOS or anything.

However, after coming off of bc your body can take awhile to adjust. If it’s just that there’s really nothing to know. It’s just more frustrating because you feel like you’re not getting your fair set of chances.

@anotherbee:  Hmm. The spotting is a concern.

How long after you O are you beginning to spot?

If you have a short luteal phase that’s a bigger issue.

@anotherbee:  The spotting technically is interrupting your LP.  You need to see a doctor to figure out what’s going on.  Sorry 🙁
