Got a positive opk on Saturday. Sunday and Monday they were also positive. When I say positive, the test line was darker than the control line. Yesterday and today they look like this picture! I don’t think it’s positive, but it’s close.. why aren’t they getting lighter?? The first time I conceived I never even got a true positive, and this time around the lines are darker than they’ve ever been for me. Why is this? Any ideas? O is not confirmed yet, but I thought I O’d yesterday. Confirming through temping.

Maybe you’re pregnant? Take a HPT

tm6173 : Maybe you haven’t ovulated yet. I had that happen a few times…I’d gear up to ovulate, get positive opks, followed by dark but negative opks, then get more positives a few days later. FWIW my cycle was trying to regulate after 15+ years on the pill. I ended up getting my BFP from ovulating on CD 8 despite the fact that my cycles were usually 35+ days sooo all this to say that sometimes our bodies are really weird!! Good luck to you!

Ehh I hate those opk test strips. I switched to the digital ones which are more expensive but way less analysing involved. I’d say that you’re still gearing up to O if your chart hasn’t indicated it yet. I would be baby dancing right now if I were you! good luck

I use the cheap internet strips and then confirm with a digital when I think its positive. I get a lot of very close positives on the cheap strips but then the digital is negative. When I get a true true positive on the strips then the digital will always show positive.
