I’m at 4 wks 5 days, and decided to dip an LH strip and an HCG strip because I have so many left – and I was curious. (Also had to be reassured that I’m still pregnant )
The LH strip showed two lines significantly faster and darker – I was so surprised (it was pretty much instant). The HCG strip took longer, and the contrast between the two lines weren’t as stark. I figured I would post it here in case anyone was ever curious about OPK vs HPT!

Very cool! One note… I attempted this during my last tww and let the opk and hpt strips touch… and the dye from the opk ran onto the hpt giving me a massive false positive. I knew it could not be accurate because it was so early and it was impossible to have that much of a positive test at that point. Just giving fair warning to anyone else who may try this to not let the tests touch and to use different containers to dip the strips in

Oh wow I didn’t know that’s possible. Great tip!
On a separate note, I heard from another Bee that at some point, HCG strips will come up faint or negative from too much HCG in urine – I wonder if it’s the same for LH strips as well?
