So, because I have no idea what my cycle is like, I’ve been using OPKs to know when I Will ovulate. So, the last few days the test line has gradually gotten darkwr, but never what I would call a positive (although yesterday was pretty dark). Today, there is BARELY a line at all. Does that mean I should consider yesterday my positive?

Hi there, sorry you are feeling stressed with the OPK’s – they can be tough and certainly not for everyone.
How often were you testing each day? Which urine were you using? (ie first morning urine, afternoon, evening etc). Without having a few cycles under your belt, it will be hard to tell.
You may have just missed your surge and had a “close” to positive and now back to lighter lines. Or, you havent O’d yet. Keep in mind you can get several positive OPK’s in a cycle and never actually ovulate! Not common, but it happens!
What cycle day are you on?

It sounds like you had your surge right after the almost positive yesterday. Before my BFP I had an almost positive, then a fainter line and it meant I missed my surge. But you will ovulate within 24-48 hours of that surge so happy BD’ing!

thanks ladies! I’m not too worried about it at the moment, I’m more curious about when/if I will this cycle. Lucky for me, Fiance and I are in a particularly romantic phase of our relationship (we go through stages, lol. Always love each other, not always “loving” toward each other haha) so bd has been no issue! I hear about how it can become a chore, and while we’re only in our first/secondish cycle trying I’m glad that time hasn’t come for us yet! 🙂 I guess we’ll see in a couple of weeks won’t we! Lol
