I think it sounds Halloween-y.  That’s not necessarily bad, though!  Some oranges are more pink, which would be less Halloween-y.  Could you put your MOHs in brown instead of black?

@Crystal30:  I love those colors because it’s my favorite hockey team’s colors.  Anyways, I was asked not to ever do it because it does look a bit halloweenish.  I’m sure you can incorporate orange in nicely.  I actually love orange and gray together.

Hmmm, I don’t think I would do orange and black. It may seem a little Halloween partyish. What about maroons, plums or browns? I’ve even seen a tiffany blue and brown combo in October and it was beautiful!

cake also shows the colours, so you could have the full mix of colours in things like the cake, and use the others as accents if you were worried

Honestly, I am not a fan. Sorry!

What about putting all the girls in black and bringing in color with the flowers?

Kind of like this

I agree that it will look a bit Halloween-y.  What about navy blue?

I agree with the suggestion of bringing in the orange using flowers instead of having the BMs in orange dresses.

Maybe add in a third color like a deep red, dark pink or a navy blue?

As someone who went to a very orange school… orange is a HARD color for people to wear without it looking garish/costumey. I would suggest maybe a dark, charcoal gray, brown or navy blue and using orange as the accent – sashes, flowers, shoes, etc.

My colors are orange & green, and the girls are wearing grey. Orange goes great with so many colors- brown, grey, navy…actually, I think you can match it with anything, given the right shade.
