I was a bridesmaid in an October wedding and we wore Alfred Angelo’s ‘Burnt Orange’. I’m not sure if you’ve seen it in person, but it’s not as dark as I had expected it to be.

I had the same trouble too.  I ended up going to some bridal stores and checking out the color swatches in person.  The photos on the internet are not accurate all the time.  Another way to start is just doing a simple google images search for orange dresses.  You might find a shade you like there that will lead you to a good dress designer.

If you don’t you mind risking online shopping, you could googled and searched for some online shop where maybe you could find what you want. I bought my bm’s dresses online, not a bad shopping experience.

My girls wore Alfred Angelo’s burnt orange and I thought it was stunning!

ETA: I should add that the color changed depending on the lighting. I dont know what it was but the dresses look much brighter here than they did indoors. I didn’t mind it since I thought both looked nice but some brides wouldn’t like it.

Here’s a more close-up shot…

I did a quick search on my favourite Bridesmaid or Best Man dress resource, eBay, and came up with these, among others:
