I love the idea of one thing colored (crinoline OR shoes). I myself am wearing pink shoes, but the two different colors In My Humble Opinion is a bit much. I’m sure that isn’t what you wanted to hear, so if you still want to do it, go for it! It’s your day!

honestly i think its one of those things where you have to see it.. it could work, it might be too much. i’d love to see pics if you ever find any!

I think this might be too much but I’d have to see it in action to know for sure. Also it depends on the shades of the colors. If they are both really bright it might be too much but if they are subdued shades it could look cool.

Like everyone else it might be to much. But I really wish we could see a picture. I looked for something to visually see but no luck… But all in all it is your day if it makes you happy then do it.. It is your day.

Ditto what the other ladies said. Is there any way you could show us your crinoline, and then maybe post a picture of shoes that you are considering? My instinct tells me that it would be too much, but if you really want to do it, just research it a little more to see if it would work out!~

I think it’s all agreed so far. It could go both ways I think this is one of those situations which requires photos.

okay so I did some searching and this is what I found. I really think it is going to depend on your color of each one. I found these pictures I know it is not what you are wanting but it would give everyone an idea. And I think it could look great. These might not be the right colors but it is an idea. Hope this helps.

Seriously good finds FPG!  Just hearing the color combo, I would have thought it would never work, but seeing those images makes me re-think it altogether.  I think what I’m learning is that nearly anything is possible, done in the right way!

I think you’d almost have to buy the shoes and look at it…  But a first glance I love the color combo – those pics are great!  I say if you love it, go with it.

I’m thinking of wearing a colored crinoline too – our colors are chocolate brown and oranges with a fall theme and I want something unexpected 🙂  Let us know what you find!

I say go for it! I’m wearing hot pink crinoline with lime green shoes…I think it looks funky and fresh.  Good luck!

Okay so I’m a bit biased (read: Irish) so I think it’s great & looking at FPG’s pics even more so YES! Green is a more "earthy" color & the sunshine orange will really pop with your shoes!
