That sounds like it could be a good idea. Does the photographer have a location for the shoots or would the girls participating be responsible for renting a hotel room?

I could be. $250 is a little higher than some of the other places I’ve seen advertised, especially if makeup is not included. What do you get in terms of photos or albums for that price? I’d definitely be interested to look at some of their work! 🙂

I have all my info about this on my home computer, so I’ll try to comb through it tonight and link you to some of the places I’ve found. If you don’t get any images, 250 seems pretty steep to me. 🙂

Hey, I’ve just found the Atlanta boards. There are a lot of B-pic photographers in Atlanta, I know Sky and Carla was running a 200 dollar b pic sale, Shannon Wright , Blue World Studios does them as well and they have great reviews. I’m personally using Carla from Sky and Carla next month.

I actually think this is a pretty reasonable price for the session & makeup. Most talented photographers I know (myself included) are more than twice that for a private session. These type of sessions are harder to do than a normal portrait session. And it takes a lot more creative energy to help a woman relax and feel sexy. Most of us are sooo incredibly self conscience especially when compared to what the media defines as sexy.

And $80 for makeup is a great rate. I’ve worked with a lot of professional makeup artists and never met one that charged less than that. Just wanted to offer a different perspective.

Wow.  I really like his style.  I have to say that.  MY type of photography.  His wedding shots and engagement shots are gorgeous!

I like it also that he does a softer look.  I am not terribly into the photojournalism look with such unfinished pictures.

This guy is definitely getting my bookmark placed in my folder for favorites!  I rarely say that.

His are some of the BEST engagement pics I’ve ever seen.
