So the time has come to select and order invitations. I can’t decide if purchasing them in a store would be best, or ordering them online. I used to work for a Hallmark and when we received an order in-store, we just ordered them from someone online anyway, so I’m not entirely convinced the quality is different.
Reasons for ordering in-store: I can look and feel the invitations and know exactly what the color, paper, weight, and size of the invite looks like in my hands; if something gets messed up, the store can fix it; support local business. Cons might be limited selection, pressured to go with certain invitations (because they are more expensive), and the cost is more.
Reasons for ordering online: Likely cheaper (I am constantly getting things in the mail with promo codes, free shipping, etc. on invitations), virtually unlimited selection, no-pressure shopping. Cons are that I can’t physically see the invitation and it might look a whole lot better online, sending them back would be a hassle if something is messed up, there is no customer service (for example, someone to recommend certain wording or etiquette), and WHAT IF they don’t come on time?
What do you all think? Anyone ordered invitations online? How was the experience? Any recommendations for good sites? THANKS! <3

Vistaprint.com is who we are going through. If you go to their site and sign up, they will send you a free sample wedding kid. You get a ton of sizes and styles and get to see all the different paper options they have. They do a great job. And you can find coupon codes online sometimes that give you 50% off 😀

We actually got ours from the WeddingBee Invitations site. I liked that we could order free samples and they looked awesome! Shipping was fast and everything was packaged nicely so everything arrived in great condition. We also got all the extra runs of the invites in case something turned out with a problem.

I used MagnetStreet. I am very happy with the quality and the price was reasonable. What I really liked about them is you can customize every single style they have, the font, colors of font, graphic colors etc can all be changed.

I ordered samples from 123 print and anns bridal and ended up going with Anns bridal. You should also get samples from Vista print because I loved the free return labels I got from them

I ordered samples that looked like what I thought I wanted from a few different places – some sent free samples, others you had to pay.
I ended up loving a sample from eInvite.com, so we ordered from them. Also I could print a copy of what the final invitation would look like on my computer, so when the invitation arrived it was exactly the look and feel I expected. There was also a very similar invitation (different color) that the sample did not match what I expected, so I was so happy to have the ability to look at the samples first!

We got invitations online. From Zazzle. They printed the next day, and then shipped the day after that. I really like Zazzle because they have so many font choices, there’s about 300 to choose from.
