it is all u to you honey but here is an option: groom will be waiting for you at the altar, as will best man, your mother, your bridesmaid then Maid/Matron of Honor, then you. You dont eve have to have your mum walk down…i saw it at someones wedding once – they dont all have to go down just you and your bm and moh. Tradition is out of the window these days- make it original – and dont let ppl bully you into things – family can sometimes try and have their way !! lol

@futmrsbing27:  yep you could have them both walk down to different music to yourself and your bridal party to break up the groups. You can do whatever you want – its you and your future hubby’s day 🙂

I think it would be sweet to have the moms walk together. Ours was:

The groom walked by his mother

My mother walked by the groom’s father

Bridesmaid or Best Man and Groomsmen couples together

Best Man and Maid/Matron of Honor together

Myself walked by my father

It was important to me to have my groom walk down the aisle, too. That stems from the fact that I’m Jewish and in Jewish wedding both the bride and groom are walked by both parents. But my mom said she’d rather be able to watch me walk than walk with me, so we had my Father-In-Law walk with her. I thought it symbolized the family blending nicely.

So in short, you could totally have the 2 moms walk together.
