I have 1 Matron of Honor, 1 Maid of Honor, 2 Best Men, 4 Bridesmaids, 4 Groomsmen, 1 Junior Bride, 2 Junior Bridesmaids, 1 Ring Bearer, and 1 Flower Girl. I am at the point where I am trying to figure out their order for coming into the church. All of the guys (minus the RB) will come in on the side, one at a time, with Fiance. I want my big sister (Matron) to be righ tbeside me at the altar.
I was thinking Junior Bridesmaids first, then Bridesmaids, Maid, Matron, Junior Bride, Ring Bearer, and finally Flower Girl. Will that work or do you have other suggestions?
How did you line your Party up?

What’s a “Junior Bride”? Sounds fun!
The weddings that I’ve been in, the order has always seemed to me to reflect the relationship to the bride: family closest to her, then oldest/closest friends, then other/newer friends. That means the other/newer friends come down the aisle first. I’ve always assumed that was kind of the unsaid assumption (I’m always trying to see how close I get!)
Also, I’ve seen the children in either place –before or after the adults. But my big suggestion is to let the kids sit down with their parents after they walk down the aisle. Either that or have them all the way at the end of the line-up. I’ve never seen kids in a wedding that didn’t distract me. I guess some people think that’s cute, but, um, not me. And in a worst case, they have a freak out or something. I guess it depends on the kid and the age, though.

@millaybrowning: My Junior Bride is my little sister. She’s a mini-me and I wanted ot give her a special title….not just a Junior Bridesmaids like my nieces. I plan on letting the kids have a seat after the “who gives this Bride” part.

Aw, that’s sweet that you created a position for your little sister. I have the same people as you without the junior bridesmaids and junior bride, and I’m planning on the same thing- bridesmaids, then maid of honor, then matron (who is also my older sister). Ring bearer is my nephew- so my sister needs to be up front first so he will walk to her!

@arclee: Thanks!! She’s really excited about it. My Ring Bearer is my Godson, so he’ll probably come to either me or Fiance. His mom will be singing while the Wedding Party Ladies and Kids are walking in.
Edit: Oh wait…i won’t be in there yet, lol
