(Closed) Order out of state…cheaper price…is it worth it?

@HueysLuda: 3 hours away isnt bad, but with a price difference that large I would check with the designer to make sure that shop is an authorized seller.

I don’t really see a downside if they’re willing to ship it to you and have alterations done in your area. One huge plus for ordering in NJ is that there is also no sales tax on clothing (including wedding dresses!) so that will save you a good additional chunk of money.  

I’m getting married in NJ but live in Chicago–I ordered the dress in NJ and so far no issues whatsoever other than I have to fly back to do fittings, but that shouldn’t be an issue for you if it’s shipped to MD.

@HueysLuda: I am also doing this cause I found my dress cheaper at a salon that is across the country from me! I actually think I know what salon youre talking about in New Jersey… whats the name of it? Also, what dress did you choose?!!

@HueysLuda: Yep! Thats the one. They also carry Ian Stuart which is the designer of the dress I’m getting! I LOVE enzoani and I LOVE the Dakota 🙂 Good choice!

@HueysLuda:  I JUST ordered my ian Stuart gown from this shop! I will not have the alterations done there because i live all the way in MI. I hope it all works out!
