Both beautiful and look fantastic on you, so I can see why you are struggling to decide! I only slightly prefer the second one, but if the alterations are too much of a hassle or are cost prohibitive, you can’t go wrong with the first one. Congratulations on your impending elopement! How exciting!

If I was eloping in the autumn on a mountain or a barn with a moody-theme photographer and a big dark-color bouquet, I would 100% pick the second one 🙂 It’s more rustic which fits that aesthetic.
If I was eloping in the summertime on a beach or somewhere bright and airy with a bright and airy photographer, I would pick the first one because it’s brighter and fits that aesthetic better.
Overall, I like the general style of the second one more, but I think the first dress is more theme-flexible 🙂

The second one looks more elegant!

Oh this is difficult, you look so nice in both. I think l slightly incline to the second if the illusion removal isn’t problematic .

Both dresses are from Amazon? They both look SOOOO gorgeous! You can’t go wrong either way but I did vote for the 1st!

You look amazing in both, but I slightly prefer the second.

namsayin : Thanks! Yes, both were ordered through Amazon Prime. I tried a few more (duds) that got returned to Kohl’s. All the dresses are more bridal than I was intending, but can’t go wrong for the price.

I am pretty terrible at visualizing what the dress would like on me without the illusion lace, so I did a pretty crummy paint job. The mesh can be removed – several others who reviewed the dress cut it out themselves (but I’m not too sure I’d be comfortable doing that myself). I do love both dresses. Unfortunately, alterations are going to cost more than I paid for either dress. I paid $110 for the first and $130 for the second. I’ve gotten quotes on alterations for hemming alone at around $150 for all the layers.

Honestly they are both sooo gorgeous. You can’t go wrong with either. I picked the champagne/ivory one because there’s just something extra special about it. It has a richness that the other one doesn’t.

elopingbee3 : WOW they are both beautiful, I love Amazon for everything. would you mind sharing the vendor/link?

elopingbee3 : Also while I think both dresses from Amazon are beautiful, have you tried Lulu’s? They have less formal style wedding dresses for around $90-100ish and hopefully you won’t have to do any alterations.

thatphillygirl : Sure!
Sure! If you do order, be cautious. Inventory changes frequently – so make sure your size/color is Amazon Prime and easily returnable.
The pictures do not look like the actual dress which is pretty shady, but the review pictures are a good representation. Well worth it for $130.
White dress (no longer prime, and I removed the sequins)
