I think it looks amazing how it is, but I love sweetheart necklines so I voted to maybe look at having it changed. I think it would look nice if the bottom layer was adjusted to sweetheart but the top lace layer was left as is as it would be a lot harder to adjust.

The dress looks beautiful on you and the skirt looks great for twirling!

Beautiful gown, just the way it is, but I am partial to sweetheart necklines. I agree with @pohget:, you could see how it looks with the back part of the bodice adjusted to look like a sweetheart and leave the lace alone, and then decide. Either way, I am sure it will look beautiful.

It’s beautiful. I nomally suggest sweetheat necklines, but I don’t think your dress needs it.

I am with Prewitt. Usually I am a huge sweetheart fanatic, but I like this particular dress as is. I wouldn’t mess with it.

I don’t think a sweetheart would look bad but I think the way it is compliments the detail of the dress. It’s beautiful with the straight neckline.

My exact words when I opened the thread “ohhhhhh, that is just lovely!”

I love sweetheart necklines too, but I think this dress is perfect just the way it is. I also worry that a sweetheart would be difficult to do with the lace trim the way it is, and I wonder if it will take away from the simple elegance of this dress.

…I’m almost wishing this was my dress…and its totally different.

Hmmm well, I love it how it is too!

BUT, if they are able to change it, you might as well see how it looks pinned, before they actually do the neckline change. I <3 sweetheart necklines. I wish I had one 🙁

I love sweetheart necklines, so I voted for maybe. Can they pin the dress to show you how it would look with an altered neckline? Maybe that would give you a better idea of it would be worth it. I think it’s a beautiful dress and very flattering on you, it definitely doesn’t *need* any alterations!

I think your dress is gorgeous as is! I love how the scalloping at the top of the bust mirrors the botton scalloping at the waist. And I think the straight neckline matches the straight hemline of your dress nicely, so everything is really balanced. Your dress looks beautiful on you!
