Its the Sottero midgley starla! I love it so much! http://www.sotteroandmidgley.com/dress.aspx?style=VSM7119
I just dont know which Petticoat would look best, the one my bridal shop put me in wasn’t right, the volume started further down instead of at the top of the skirt. It was a cloth covered 2 hoop petticoat i think. Any ideas? Maybe a train petticoat? http://www.ebay.com/itm/170552808507?var=470009416593&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
Also i wonder if it looks too short, maybe i need shorter heels?

Yay! It’s gorgeous. I see what you mean about the shoes though – how high are the ones you have?

Thank you! ๐ I’m tall (5’9) so I these are only 2 3/4″ inch heels, should i trade em in for 2 inches maybe? Also i bet the petticoat will affect it, it might look better too with a slightly less poufy petticoat, like a train petticoat since i have a train?

It’s up to you: in the first pic it looks like the dress is at least an inch off the floor? Personally, I’d prefer mine to sit flush with the ground. If you’re happy with that, rock those shoes! If not, then perhaps some slightly shorter ones would work. Either way, you’re going to look great!

i usually do not do a double-take with maggie sottero dresses but this one looks stunning on you. at 5’9″ and with heels, maybe you should order extra length (i’m jealous because i’m so short). i

i almost think you should wear flats with that dress? or teensy heels… it does look too short.
of course, it will all depend on what crinoline/petticoat you choose! if you choose one with less poof, it will make your dress appear longer…
so i’d pick a crinoline, then decide if you need to order extra length… as it is, and if you want to wear that size heel, i would definitely order extra length!!! ๐
gorgeous dress!

@anotheroneofmany Hmm too late to order extra length but im attaching a pic of what it looks like without a petticoat, and i think i was wearing 3 inch heels. Good idea i think i’ll use a crinoline, i like that one with the train i posted the link for, and i guess ill start looking at flats:) If i have my wedding photographer take a picture of my accessories like ive seen done, i’ll just get some cute heels for the pic and everyone can think i wore those ๐ cuz usually i love wearing 3 inch heels, but i think its ok to be shorter for my wedding day, my Fiance is 6’3 I dont really want to be 6 feet:)
Without any petticoat and with 2 3/4 – 3″ heels (please disregard black underwear lol):

the picture you posted without the petticoat makes the dress seem the correct length! yay!
so, i’d get whatever crinoline you want (one that’s less poofy than the one in the first pictures you posted!), and then play with the heel size… you might end up with 1.5″ or 2″ heels instead of the 3″ ones you’re wearing in the “no-petticoat” picture, but i don’t think you’ll have to do flats if you get the right crinoline… wahoo! ๐
(of course, if you want POOF!, then you may have to do flats… but it’s up to you! yay for options!)
