James Allen solitaire with matching wedding band (although the wedding band turned out slightly wider than the engagement ring…both are supposed to be 1.5mm).  Size 5 ring .9 carat.  Only had it about a year so can’t speak to the prongs.  And please excuse my outgrown french manicure ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s my ring from James Allen, not sure on the specs. I’ve had it for only a month so can’t really speak for the prong longevity. But did want to note that my fiancé had so many issues with them delaying shipping that it almost didn’t make it in time for the vacation in which he proposed. It took about three weeks longer than he was promised.

Here’s mine – the thin french cut pave setting. I’ve had mine about a year and a half – no issues with the prongs here yet.

neonlights90 :  Thanks!  I love how the simplicity of the bands just let the diamond stand out on its own.  Specs are:
Carat .90 , Color J , Clarity VS2 , Cut Excellent

My now husband (of 2 1/2 weeks – whoo!) did a ton of research on diamonds before he bought and learned that the cut was the most important part.  Even though the color is only J, it never looks even remotely yellow and man, it shines and sparkles like crazy!  As long as you get a great cut, you can sacrifice on color in order to get a larger diamond.

I have a few rings from James Allen. I’ve bought loose diamonds bands and settings from them. Simple 4 or 6 prong presentation settings, they were really inexpensive. I bought a pave band from them that just ok, overpriced. I recently had a stone reset into their Modern Tulip, which I really like a lot. I hope you enjoy your new ring!

Only had it a little over a month so I can’t talk about prong longevity but it seems secure! I love it. Mine shipped more or less on time. It was maybe 2-3 days after the “estimated” ship date, if I recall, but that wasn’t really an issue for me given that it wasn’t a concrete date to begin with.

My beautiful halo. I love James Allen. I had never heard of them before he proposed and he couldn’t have done better! I wear my ring at work and it’s very durable and extremely sparkly ๐Ÿ™‚ congrats on your future James Allen ring!

I envy the ones who can wear their ring to work! Mine would be beat up too badly. ๐Ÿ™

When my fiance ordered my ring from JA, it took them about two weeks to ship it.
