I am getting married on 11/12/11 and I just ordered my dress this past weekend. Which gives me about a 6 month wait. I ordered a Martina Liana. The place that I bought it at said that it would take 4-5 months to get it in. Is this just standard or is this really how long Martina Liana takes to come in? Please respond if you have any idea!

That is a very standard time frame for wedding dresses, regardless of the designer.

Yep, sounds normal to me.

Mine took 5 months. Definitely reasonable.

I ordered a Sottero and Midgley back in January and they told me 6-8 months! So yes that’s about right. I should be getting mine in August the latest.. hopefully WAY sooner.. its already been over 4 months

OK thanks girls! This makes me so nervous! Lol. Jut thinking of the possiblity that it may be late. Is it also sometimes possible that it could come in earlier? Sorry I don’t know why I worry so much! Thanks bees! 🙂

Mine took 6 months and a very good friend of mine works at a salon and warned me prior that 65% of the time they are approx 2 weeks late. Mine was 17 days late. And I ordered kind of late so I didn’t get it until about month prior to the wedding. it was terrifying

@mwitter80: OMG don’t say that! My dress is supposed to be here 20 days before the wedding as it is!

I ordered a Martina Liana dress 2 weeks ago and they told me January 2012! However, I am not sure if they just said January because they like to have it in 2 months before the wedding. Did you purchase in NYC?

No I actually live in Louisiana and I purchased it in Baton Rouge. I hope that mine doesn’t get here in January of 2012….ill be MARRIED by then! lol

They told me 6 months. I ordered mid-Janury, I still haven’t received it. So I think that I will get it by July.

@doublea2a: make sure you have a backup dress at hand if something were to happen with your original dress!
