I’ve seen a few posts on here with mixed opinions regarding the little boxes of dried orchids where you get $30 for like $12, so I ordered some to try out. The plan was manzanita trees w orchids. I ordered three colors (two shades of yellow and a purple/white), and the butterscotch color looks pretty good, but the solid yellow is pretty tiny and wrinkly, and the purple and white doesn’t have very crisp colors. I thought about making napkin rings with the butterscotch color since I think they’d look decent for that, but I don’t have enough so they’ll all be going back :(. Long story short, I think these would be best for the centerpieces where they are inside the vase (there are a couple cool posts on here where 3ish orchids were placed inside a tall cylindrical vase w some greenery), but probably aren’t ideal for placement out where people can see them really clearly or touch them. If anyone is looking to try these, I’d suggest staying away from the white or purple colors (bc they seem to have a bit of a yellow cast) and going w something in the yellow/orange/red range.
