kmarie84:  All of those dresses are copies of the originals, made without permission. Even the pictures they use are stolen from the designer’s website.

Looks like a china replica dressmaker. They steal all the original designers dresses and replicate them. Be warned you will not get the same quality, same fabrics, same lace, etc. There are MANY horror stories and pictures of replica dresses. Just do a search to read about them.

There seem to be a couple that a few people have had success with – Jasmines Bridal Shop (JBS) and I believe LaceMarry on Etsy are a some.

My friend ordered their dress from there. It was the designer picture and what she got was a shoddy knock off made from cheap fabric. Beware! If it seems to good to be true….

kmarie84:  From what I’ve seen, people generally have good experiences with LaceMarry. I’d definitely order from them over ordering off random Chinese sites with few or no objective reviews.

I work in a formal wear store, and I can’t warn anyone enough of Chinese dresses, or even etsy! All of these stores/sites are illegal knockoff dresses. Customs can sieze your dress, and often profits go to support illegal activity/child labor/sweat shops.

kmarie84:  I bought a dress from David’s Bridal online and love it! I wouldn’t chance a knock off dress.

I ordered my dress online and am 100% happy with the decision. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from a knock-off site, but if you’re on a budget I’d recommend trying on dresses to find one you love and then looking around online to see if you can find a sample, used, or bought but never worn dress. I fell in love with a Monique Lhuillier design that’s a few years old, found a sample at an online formalwear consignment store and bought it. It’ll need to be taken in a size or two, but I paid a fraction of the cost, got my designer dress and couldn’t be happier! The owner of the store sent me pictures of the label/tag and dress itself so I knew there was no damage or staining. I’d recommend checking them out: http://www.ledressboutique.com/find-my-dress/wedding-gowns
