(Closed) Ordering a dress out of state…questions!

You could call and ask ahead of time and just explain that it’s your hometown. We are doing this with FI’s gown and our salon had no problem. Otherwise, maybe you could get your Mom or another family member to stop in and ask and/or potentially order it for you.

I got mine in Minneapolis, where my mom lives and I live in Nebraska.  I called around and found a similar dress to the one I wanted, and tried it on for size.  Then once I had the size, called the store and ordered.   Turned out great for me, and easy.  Even if you can just find the right designer and try on their dresses you should be able to get close enough for the size that you need.

@MiamiLove13: Sure.  I didn’t tell them I wasn’t ordering from them, only that I wanted to try on a dress I had seen.  They were super nice about it.
