Hi there! I am pricing out flowers for my sister’s upcoming wedding this april 1st….she wants it really simple as she is doing three different height containers with a white rose in each…comes to about 97 white roses and 29 red roses needed. I have priced out through a florist and even local supermarkets – pricing ranges from $200 – $300! We are literally cutting these to sumberge into water. I was looking online at costco and other sites and they can get 100 white roses for under $100! Sounds like a steal – but nervous since never ordered and we won’t have a back up plan if they come in poorly…eek….
Anyone ordered bulk flowers from costco or similiar websites????

I’ve only ordered flowers from fiftyflowers.com but I actually plan to order my wedding flowers from Sam’s Club and fifty flowers. Sam’s Club’s prices for roses were MUCH cheaper than fiftyflowers. My experience with fiftyflowers was awesome but I am not sure about Sam’s Club. My advice would be to set the delivery a few days before the wedding b/c the flowers will perk up and open out a lot before the wedding.

We are looking into ordering flowers for the bouquets from Sam’s as well. I know they have a wedding pack of 25 white and 75 red rosees for something like $75, so I think we will probably get something like that. They also have packs of just white, I think it may be a little cheaper than Costco but it depends on where you have a membership. I have heard very good things about ordering flowers from Sam’s Club!
We are also doing submerged roses for centerpieces and I think I am going to use real touch roses instead. The cost is about the same, but I did a trial and it took a lot of preparation to weigh down the rose so it didn’t float and so it stuck to our rocks on the bottom. I wanted to be able to prepare them in advance because it was a lot more time-consuming than I thought it would be to assemble them.

I’m ordering from Sam’s Club too!
I was in a wedding and my friend ordered from them and they turned out great! I was going to have them delivered on Thursday for my wedding but thanks @totheislnds, I might consider having them delivered on Wednesday!
I went to Hobby Lobby and bought everything I needed to make the bouquets, the staff was SO helpful! I’ll post pics after I run my first trial!

I ordered all my flowers from FiftyFlowers and they were great! The roses were huge and smelled amazing! And my calla lilies were so fresh and beautiful! The customer service team was great also, very helpful! The roses at Sams Club or Costco may be cheaper but I can’t imagine them being better quality than the ones I got! Good Luck!
