Yes- the prices will change.  Peonies are in season in the Spring (around this time).  They are much more expensive and hard to find in the fall.  See these links for brides in a similar position:

There are loads of posts on here with recommendations for online flower vendors.

Check out the links under "Related Posts" at the bottom of this page, use the search too. on the upper right hand corner of every page and check out these links:

I ordered from fifty flowers. They are having a sale on flower petals, so i paid in full right now, knowing it’d likely go up closer to June or they may not have them. For $140 i got 6,000 petals to cover all 17 or so of my tables.

I waited until a couple months before my wedding- but I wasn’t using flowers that were specific to a season (roses).  Bloomsbythebox.com has a constulation service where you can call them up and ask questions, get advice, etc.  I would call some of the sites you’re interested in using and ask them!  Good luck!

I haven’t experinced ording online, but that’s what I’m doing.  My wedding planner suggested Sam’s Club, she said she’d had great experiences with them.  The key is like what you’re doing, order a few days ahead so that they have time to mature.
