My daughter is getting married in December, and we are gown shopping. We made the mistake of accidentally going to a high-end store and she fell in love with a Pronovias gown that there is no way we can afford. Everything else she tried on, in other stores such as David’s etc… cannot hold a candle to this gown. We are thinking of using Dressily Me, but I don’t know exactly how to order from them when we want to do a custom order from photographs, not order a dress already from the website.
Anyone know how?
She has champagne taste and Ballatore budge. She has a classic style and is would wear Grace Kelly’s gown if she could get it. She is also a size 2 and can actually wear gowns off the rack with no alterations, so this is a lot of fun and ordering online might be a safe bet for her because she is an easy body size.
Also, we contacted three DHGate dress makers that ladies on this board recommended:
All three said they can make the gown.
It is a relatively simple gown that we have in mind. Inspired by Pronovias Dalia…
A bodice, with sleeveless chantilly lace and a little beading, big early sixties satin sash, and satin skirt with box pleats. Does anyone have input on who we should use. I did go through the boards but I have not seen a dress similar to this style made so far, and I want to know if anyone thinks one of the dressmakers would do a better job with that style than another. I know there is questions about beading with some of the dressmakers….
We just don’t know who to choose and how to do it. We would appreciate any input…thanks! This is exciting.
